Rules & Regulations for Online Classes
The following rules ensure a productive, respectful, and structured online learning environment. Compliance is mandatory for all participating schools and students.
Section A: Before Class
Preparation requirements to ensure readiness for online learning
Be Tech Ready
Ensure your device, internet connection, camera, and microphone are working properly before class begins.
Find their Spot
Choose a quiet, well-lit, and appropriate location (not a bedroom), with necessary learning materials nearby.
Dress well
Wear proper attire, not just a t-shirt.
Rename
Use your full name (e.g., Last Name, First Name) for easy identification
Section B: During Class
Behavioral expectations and classroom conduct during live sessions
Be Punctual
Join the online classes on time and remain until the end of the class.
Put Camera On
Turn on your video when asked to do so to show engagement. Otherwise, keep your camera off to conserve data and reduce distractions.
Mute Mic
Keep your microphone muted unless you are speaking, to avoid background noise.
One Voice
Only one person should speak at a time (one-mic rule).
Stay Attentive
Do not eat, chew gum, or engage in any unrelated activities while the lesson is ongoing.
Participate
Answer questions, ask relevant questions, and share ideas politely via the chat box or by raising your electronic hand.
Respect
Listen to the teacher and your classmates. Use appropriate and non-offensive language at all times.
Stay Put
Do not leave the class without permission.
