Rules & Regulations for Online Classes

The following rules ensure a productive, respectful, and structured online learning environment. Compliance is mandatory for all participating schools and students.

Section A: Before Class

Preparation requirements to ensure readiness for online learning

Be Tech Ready

Ensure your device, internet connection, camera, and microphone are working properly before class begins.

Find their Spot

Choose a quiet, well-lit, and appropriate location (not a bedroom), with necessary learning materials nearby.

Dress well

Wear proper attire, not just a t-shirt.

Rename

Use your full name (e.g., Last Name, First Name) for easy identification

Section B: During Class

Behavioral expectations and classroom conduct during live sessions

Be Punctual

Join the online classes on time and remain until the end of the class.

Put Camera On

Turn on your video when asked to do so to show engagement. Otherwise, keep your camera off to conserve data and reduce distractions.

Mute Mic

Keep your microphone muted unless you are speaking, to avoid background noise.

One Voice

Only one person should speak at a time (one-mic rule).

Stay Attentive

Do not eat, chew gum, or engage in any unrelated activities while the lesson is ongoing.

Participate

Answer questions, ask relevant questions, and share ideas politely via the chat box or by raising your electronic hand.

Respect

Listen to the teacher and your classmates. Use appropriate and non-offensive language at all times.

Stay Put

Do not leave the class without permission.
