Phrasal Verbs I

Overview

Recognize that verbs enter into structural relationships with adverbial particles. Identify in the structure which part is verb and which is adverb, use them in sentences. Recognize that the structure got from the combination is usually connotative rather than denotative meaning Use the dictionary as an aid in this construction.
